People's Education Society, founded by Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar in Mumbai in 08 July 1945, has a network of numerous Educational Institutions of higher learning in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Bihar. The uniform appreciation and goodwill earned by this august society over a tumultuous period of 80 years, with its numerous schools and colleges in Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Mahad, Pandharpur, Aurangabad, Bodh Gaya, and Kolhapur as centers of learning, have opened up vistas of knowledge for the intellectually inclined, marching towards new fulfillment of enlightenment and wisdom. P.E.S. started an Engineering College in the year 1994. The next achievement was the establishment of a polytechnic Institute in 2010 with five branches and a total intake capacity of 300 students in five core disciplines: Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. In addition, from the academic year 2025 2026, we have introduced a new diploma program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with an intake capacity of 120 students, further expanding our commitment to future-focused, industry-ready education.
